Matt Knight was born in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, in the UK and showed little or no interest in making art until the age of 53.

Whilst working in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2023, Matt joined an art class, painted a Blue Tit and never stopped painting.

Matt now lives, works and paints in Haiti.
